IndiEarth Out There: Live And Loud in Bangalore!
It was just a matter of time before this show quite literally went on the road – IndiEarth announces the launch of the IndiEarth Out There gig property, a series on ground gigs in Bangalore featuring the wide spectrum of independent artists programmed in Season 2 of the Out There video series. The first of these gigs will take place on Saturday May 30th at The BFlat Bar, Bangalore, featuring psychedelic blues act Parvaaz.
In a bid to create more platforms to showcase the diverse sounds of the country’s current independent music movement, IndiEarth has teamed up with The BFlat Bar to give the artists featured in the series the chance to also share their sounds live and loud. Bangalore-based 4-piece alt rock act Parvaaz comprises of Khalid Ahamed (vocals), Kashif Iqbal (guitar and vocals), Fidel D’souza (bass) and Sachin Banandur (drums and percussions), and will be the first artists to perform at the launch of the gig series. After meeting in Kashmir, childhood friends Khalid and Kashif started making music together in 2010 when they reconnected in Bangalore. The sound they created brings together the worlds of Urdu and Kashmiri poetry, blended with the soul of the blues and a bravely experimental dose of psychedelia.
Upcoming gigs at BFlat will feature other artists who also performed live on IndiEarth Out There – including Bangalore based pop/funk rock act Clown With A Frown. For more details, visit the Facebook event page here.
